Ryde Arts Festival Added July 3rd 2006 by G We're headlining the opening night of Ryde Arts Festival on Friday July 7th...The stage is on Ryde Seafront and is only a small part of what's going on all over the town... Click here for the Festival website... I'll also be doing a small acoustic set to open the evening at about 6pm... We'll be performing alot of new material that we've earmarked for recording in the next few weeks... Have a listen and tell us what you reckon... Peace. x New Gallery... It would appear that Englands current poor fortune is rubbing off on it's citizens... While Michael Owen has been forced to return home through injury, we have also been forced to return... Yet again our bus has been a prime target for our societies budgeoning underclass... We're robbed... Enough said... On a brighter side, it has given us an opportunity to get back and onto new material. The newer songs are a lot better and we've been eager to get our teeth in to them for a while now. It also gives myself a chance to recieve treatment on a muscle tear. It has caused myself a lot of physical pain and the guys plenty of earhole grief over the last few shows... Our next show will be in our home town on Saturday evening. We're one of several bands playing at Ryde Theatre. Hopefully we'll be celebrating a place in the World Cup semi final... Take care. G x New Single... Added June 15th 2006 by G Why hello there! How jolly do I sound on this fine Thursday afternoon? Here's hoping I am smiling in such a way come final whistle this afternoon! I digress... We've been a long time out the studio and we figure it needs addressing... There have been several reasons but I shall keep my excuses short... We have been concentrating on touring for the last few months. We know that it hasn't always been the greatest card to play, but we needed to satisfy an animal urge within ourselves. Playing live was the reason we started a band and when that is denied (as it has been in the past), you revolt... Don't fear, our toys are well and trully back in the pram... :) Another reason has been the departure of Ollie and the (for want of a better expression) breaking in of Tom... We are meeting in London with The Cure Producer Dave Allen at the end of the month to begin pre-production... It really is in the early stages and we as yet haven't finalised what songs will be recorded. I can say that they will be new and far more upbeat than our previous recordings... Thanks to everyone that saw us at the festival on Thursday night and Saturday afternoon... Very eventfull. Was lovely to be made wecome at such a large event... A guitar in the head and a killer hangover later and it's back to the day job...
